This is one of the characteristics that define a living thing. *Pollination: This is the transmission of pollen from the anther to the stigma. This can be caused by insects and the wind. They're both called, "insect pollination and wind pollination." There are 2 types of pollination. One is the self pollination which means when the pollen grain from the anther falls into another stigma of the same plant or when the pollen grain from the anther falls into the stigma of itself and cross pollination when the pollen grain from the anther falls into the stigma of a different plant. *Fertilisation: Fertilisation is the process of when self pollination or cross pollination happens and then the pollen grain forms a pollen tube.
